Update from Moto Aventures

Hi to everyone. Just a quick note to update you all on this summer in Andorra.

Firstly, due to the sheer demand, we have once again, increased our fleet of bikes. We know have a grand total of 16 bikes! Secondly, again due to sheer demand, we are now fully booked for the whole summer! So, for those who wanted to book and haven't done so yet, sorry guys! It's too late!

There's always the possibility of a late cancellation, and should that happen we will let you all know as soon as possible. And for the future, we're planning some really interesting stuff for next year. That's about all for now. Future updates will be sent to you as and when we can confirm current plans. So, until then.

Kindest regards from Andorra - Su.

Sad News

Daniel Conlin was killed on the weekend on his road bike between Abergavenny and Usk. Daniel was an avid Enduro rider and member of a very small enclave of KTM fans based in Magor, South Wales. Daniel rode a 2000 KTM 300EXC and competed in last years Beach Race. He also rode two forest based enduros this year prior to the F&M outbreak and was looking forward to a lifting of the ban to continue his blossoming racing talent. Personally Daniel was, as is often said during these times, but could not be more true – one of life’s real and true Gents. Owning a Bakery in Magor and Caldicot meant that he would always supply the banquet at race meetings as well as the unlimited supply of Red Bull for those last re-fuel pit stops and always be ready for one of those impromptu ‘lets go’ rides on a wet and windy Sunday. Daniel leaves a wife and 3 young children & our condolences are with them at this time. Simon Gillett

Request for information:

This will be an odd request, but I am interested in antique motorcycles and more specifically my grandfather.
As background, I own a 1950 Indian Chief, 1958 Lambretta, hope to add to the collection some time. I also collect old motorcycle memorabilia.
The interest skipped a generation, my dad has no interest in motorcycles, he is scared of them. However I understood his dad raced them in Wales before he jumped ship in the US and stayed here. I think he came over in mid 1920's.
I am trying to find any information about my grandfather, John Gwynne Thomas, and his racing in probably the 1920's (I am guessing). I do not know whether he was in organized racing, or just messing about. Don't know whether it was hill climbs, dirt track or what. Further, except for 1 day in Cardiff, I have no real knowledge of Wales or whereabouts he was from in Wales.
I know this is pretty vague information, but if you could lead me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks.
